Linda Danielle

Linda Danielle

I was living in Florida when I received word that my cousin Linda was dying. She pased away a few weeks later, much too young to die at age 22. She never had a chance to fulfill all her dreams. I know all of our family never really got over her death, but especially her mother and father and two brothers, Dick and Tom. I am happy to see that her class has not forgotten her.

"Dinni" was probably one of my closest friends outside of actual school.  Our social friends intertwined with so many from school and Quincy.  She was usually shy until with a small group, then watch out.  We had so many plans for Florida after she graduated from college that we did not get to realize.  I still wear that old green sweatshirt she gave me.  I promised her parents that if I were ever to marry and have a daughter, the name given her would be Linda and that is one promise I was happily able to fulfill on April 14, 1968.  I still think of her in a very special way.  Thank you, Dinni, for the memories.
