Jon L. “Jack” Sabean of Cordova, MD died at his home on Saturday, May 10, 2003. He was 61.
Born September 10, 1941, he was the son of Louise Milliken Sabean of Carver, MA and the late George Benjamin Sabean. He enjoyed raising various animals on his small farm and was an avid reader and political enthusiast.
Jack, as he was affectionately known, is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Murphy, whom he married May 27, 1989; three daughters, Paige Doherty of Warner, New Hampshire, Robyn Levirne of Quincy, Massachusetts, and Georgia Sabean of Cordova, MD; two sisters, Georgia Sabean of Warrenton, VA and Nancy Wilkinson of Duxbury, MA;a grandson, Alexander I. Doherty and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the United Parish of Carver, Carver, MA.
Family and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM at the Shepherds Funeral Home, Carver, MA.
Private burial will be at Plymouth Cemetery, Plymouth, MA.
