Dad was a wonderful father of three children. I always remember a happy guy who would do anything he could for us. Dad always put 100% effort into anything he ever did and enjoyed life to the fullest. He retired to Naples, Florida in the late 1990's. He loved computers, fishing, music, movies and stamp collecting. Dad worked fulltime in Florida and enjoyed a full life with his new wife Eliza until he was stricken with a rare cancer, which took him very quickly. This is the last picture we have of Don.  I decided to post it to show you that he carried his crooked little smile with him til the end.  He is survived by a wife, stepdaughter, two daughters, a son, and four granchildren.  He was taken from us suddenly, but we find peace in knowing he did not suffer long.  We love you Don, and look forward to meeting you again.  Sandra Oppenheim                               God saw you getting tired,                               and a cure was not to be.                               So he put his arms around you,                               and whispered "come to Me".                               With tearful eyes we watched you,                               and saw you pass away.                               Although, we love you dearly,                               we could not make you stay.                               A golden heart stopped beating,                               hard working hands at rest.                               God broke our hearts to prove to us,                               He only takes the best.
