
Dick Hoole
Richard E. Hoole, 72 years of age passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital. He was born in Medford and resided in Weymouth for nearly all of his life. He was the former owner of Central Square Citgo station in East Weymouth and owned the Central Garage. In addition he had been a mechanic for the Town of Weymouth School Department for 15 years. He graduated from Weymouth High School with the class of 1960. He belonged to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. Dick was an avid boater having owned a number of sailboats and power boats. He was President of the Quincy Bay Race Week on three separate occasions over the years. He was a Past Commodore and Life Member of the Wessagusset Yacht Club, Weymouth and a Life Member of the South Shore Yacht Club located at the Hingham line. He belonged to the National Rifle Association and the Braintree Rifle Club. He is survived by his devoted wife Marjorie E. (Dwight) Hoole. He was the loving father of Laura M. Rindone married to Vincent Rindone of Reading and Gregory R. Hoole married to Shawna Hoole of Marshfield. He was the cherished grandfather of Aidyn and James Hoole and Mabel and Olive Williams all of Marshfield. Visiting hours will be at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington St., Braintree on Friday, November 22nd from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held at the Braintree Peck Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22nd at 11:00 A.M. The interment will be private.
