Patricia Gokey

Patricia F. (Boudreau) Gokey of Weymouth, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 23, 2014, at Brigham and Womens Hospital after a 4-month battle with cancer. She was 71. She worked for many years as a secretary for Mass Electric in Weymouth until her retirement in 2004. Born and raised in Weymouth, Patricia was a 1960 graduate of Weymouth High School. She was a volunteer at the Ralph Talbot Elementary School in Weymouth. Patricia was an avid reader. She enjoyed cooking and spending time near the ocean. She lived life to the fullest and will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was the loving mother of Lauren M. Howland and her husband Scott of Pembroke, and Brian S. Gokey of Weymouth; daughter of Frances C. (Gardner) Boudreau of Weymouth, and the late William E. Boudreau; sister of Gerald Boudreau of Weymouth, Joan Boudreau of Houston, Texas, and the late William Boudreau Jr.; grandmother of Jennifer Adams and her husband Corey, Taylor Howland and Amanda Howland; great-grandmother of Chase and Colby Adams. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited Patricias memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Calvary Chapel, 175 Market Street, Rockland, with a gathering to follow.
