Kenneth E. Robbins, age 73, of Weymouth and formerly of Brockton, died peacefully on July 25, 2015 while surrounded by his loving daughters. Ken was born in Brockton and was the loving son of Howard W. Robbins of Weymouth and the late Marian J. Tower. Ken was a graduate of Weymouth Vocational High School, Class of 1960. He raised his girls predominantly in Brockton and when they were younger he was very active in all of their activities. He joined the Army during the 60s, serving stateside, and later began a 43 year career with Stop and Shop; working as a manager in various stores on the south shore. Ken was Mr. Patriot; he was a season ticket holder since 1970 and he loved attending games with his daughters and friends. He was also fond of horse and dog racing and enjoyed his road trips with his partner Joe Cavaleri of Randolph. Ken was a longtime member of Local 1445, enjoyed softball when he was younger, and loved being with his girls and their families. Ken was the loving father of Nicole M. Harvey and her husband Timothy of CA, Kristin L. Suzor and her husband Jason of Avon, Amy E. Vaughn and her husband Daniel of Brockton, and Dawn M. Bradbury and her husband Derek of East Bridgewater. Loving Grampa to his 17 grandchildren. Brother of Nancy L. Noyce and her husband Harold of Weymouth, Janet E. Lovett of WA, and the late Joan Veldhuis. Longtime companion of Barbara D. Galvin of Weymouth and also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Service in the East Bridgewater Prophett- Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater on Tuesday at 7 pm., with a visitation period beginning at 5 pm.
