Paul James Collins, of Hanover, passed away at age 77, on February 13, 2019. Paul was the son of the late James Paul Collins and Thelma V. Collins. He is survived by his sons, Daniel H. Collins and his wife Shauna of Easton, Michael D. Collins and his wife Roxanne of Union, Ky., and Patrick J. Collins and his wife Nichole, of Hebron, Conn. Paul was the brother of Robert L. Collins and his wife Cathy of Bridgton, Maine. Paul is also survived by his eight beloved grandchildren, Breanna, Megan, Seamus, Brendan, Liam, Grace, Mabel and Eveleen; his friend and former wife, Maureen F. Collins; and several nieces. Paul was born in Quincy and raised in Dorchester, Weymouth and Hanover. He was a longtime resident of Pembroke, and he also lived in Tempe, Ariz., in his later years before returning to Massachusetts. A gifted artist, Paul graduated from the New England School of Art in 1964, and he found lifelong enjoyment from sketching and drawing. Paul put his creative talents to work at some of Boston's most notable advertising agencies. He also had a special passion for cars and motorcycles, which he sketched often. Paul especially looked forward to seeing his grandchildren and being a spectator at their sports and music activities.
