Paul R. Dewing, 77, of Pace, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019.
He was born in Waltham, MA on October 20, 1941 to parents, Ellery J. Dewing and Priscilla Anagnostou.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine; daughter, Lisa (Dennis) Finkel; stepson, Derek Cahill; granddaughters, Caeley Cahill, Jacqueline, Lindsey and Lelia Finkel; grandson, Cullen Cahill; great-granddaughters, Aleyah and Anylah; brothers, George and James (Marge) Dewing and sister, Barbara (Bill) Kanuch; sisters-in-law, Marie Pace and Rita Hartman and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris and Joe Brancaccio; loved like a daughter, Tama Barber and loved like a son, Michael Hanson.
Paul owned and operated his own contracting business for over 50 years and was a dedicated Vocational High School teacher for 17 years. He served in the United States Army National Guard and was the Exalted Ruler of the Weymouth-Braintree, MA Elks Lodge #2232.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 with visitation from 4:00-5:00pm and service at 5:00pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504.
