What have you been doing for the last 60 years?: I haven't got much of a brain left and you want me to remember all of that. Well here goes.





After graduating i worked for a few months, then got a job with Uncle Sam. Four years later, retiring from the Marine Corps, I began a career as a printer. That lasted a few years as the Trade was on its way out.





Married the former Judith (Judii) Nelson and she graciously with the blessing of God presented us with two great children.. Determining that the future of the printing industry was in great danger of going under, I took a test for the Fire Department. Was hired by the Town of Weymouth and spent the next 30+ years meeting and assisting many many great people. Reflecting back, I had the best job God created. Over the years saw many friend and classmates while working. Hi Marcia H. and Patti D the both of you served this community brilliantly.

   We just celebrated our 57th wedding anniversary, this past Feb 20th!  Both of us are dealing with health issues, as We are both turning 80 this year! {almost as old as dirt, as our kids say!}  We're still at the same "olde" address [about 55 years now!] Where has all the time gone?      As ever,         Jim & Judii

What have you been doing for the last 60 years?: worked at Howard Johnson Co['60-'74] main office/ in accounting. Married Jim Moore in '65; we have 2 children, Jennifer & Jeff; Jen married, and now we have the best grandchildren! ever! [Sophia,21, & Nathan,19] My last job was church sec'y at First Church, Weymouth.


Dealing with Rheumatoid Arthritis since '78, I've had [2] knee and [3] hip replacements (yes! 3 is correct! one has been done twice! my favorite/Still sewing, did dressmaking for many years. Now costumes, etc. for Sophia & Nathan.

What have you been doing for the last 60 years?: Following nursing school I worked in the mental health field until I married Bruce, an attorney, and raised 4 beautiful daughters. When they were in school, I, too, went back to earn my BS and MS degrees and worked as a consultant in geriatric mental health for a visiting nurse organization. I began an adult day center and served as supervisor of assisted living facilities. In retirement I earned a certificate in genealogy, work for the church and travel with Bruce.

What have you been doing for the last 60 years?: Graduated from Beverly Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. Worked at Quincy City and then moved in 1970 and went to work at the Hull Medical Center. Was injured during surgery in 1981 and had to retire because of being disabled. I have one daughter and 2 grandchildren that I have had the pleasure of helping to raise. My 92 year old mother lives with me and is in perfect health other then blindness. Looking forward to seeing everyone this summer.

What have you been doing for the last 60 years?: After HS I went to Italy for a couple of years to grow up. When I returned it was all school. Actually 5 degrees with one Masters post doctoral.My wife and I have traveled a lot mostly to Italy (12 X's) Our next trip is for our 50th and will be in Greece. Otherwise I like to garden and do some sculpting.

What have you been doing for the last 60 years?: I've lived in Rockland, Westford, North Conway, and now I'm back in North Weymouth. My husband is Geoff Potter and we've raised four kids and we have four grandkids and two greats. Geoff and I are active members of the board of directors of The North Weymouth Civic Association, and we enjoy the views of the Back River and the Boston skyline from our home at Weymouthport.
