David Louis Hoitt, 69, of Rockland, passed into the hands of the Lord on January 30 at Beth Israel Hospital, after a brave battle with lung cancer.
David was born in Portland, Maine, son of Raymond and Virginia Hoitt. He grew up in North Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School in 1960. He also graduated from Cambridge School of Broadcasting.

Dick Hoole
Richard E. Hoole, 72 years of age passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital. He was born in Medford and resided in Weymouth for nearly all of his life. He was the former owner of Central Square Citgo station in East Weymouth and owned the Central Garage. In addition he had been a mechanic for the Town of Weymouth School Department for 15 years. He graduated from Weymouth High School with the class of 1960. He belonged to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. Dick was an avid boater having owned a number of sailboats and power boats.
