2014-06-15James Francis Fryar II, age 71, of Plymouth died at Jordan Hospital, June 5, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved husband of Jeanne (Masone) Fryar of Plymouth, he was the loving father of Ryan and his wife Christina of Plymouth and Erin Scully and her husband Michael of N. Andover; grandfather of Shaun, Emma, Caitlin, and Luke Scully and Cameron Fryar. He also leaves three sisters, Wendy Longo and her husband Frank of Plymouth, Paula Swartz of Florida, and Edwina Haglof of Brockton; and several nieces and nephews. Edward Gaffney
Edward J. Gaffney Sr., 62, of 76 Pleasant St., died Sunday at home after a battle with cancer.
He was the loving husband of Rita (Barnard) Gaffney.
Born in Cambridge, Mass., on March 14, 1942, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Harris) Gaffney.
He was employed at Electric Boat and Bethlehem Steel's Quincy Shipbuilding Division for a total of 42 years, retiring from Electric Boat's Program Finance Organization in 2004.
He was a past member of the Old Saybrook Fire Department and also enjoyed playing in the EBAC softball league during his younger years.

Paul T.Gokey III of Middleboro (formerly of Plymouth and Weymouth) died peacefully on May 18th at B.I.D. Medical Center Boston. He is the beloved husband of 58 years to Gail D. (Larsen) Gokey. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts on March 29, 1942, son of the late Paul T. Gokey Jr. and Virginia (Proverb) and stepson of the late George Melanson. Paul was a graduate of Weymouth High School and Northeastern University, receiving a degree in Engineering.

Leslie A. (Gould) Lawrence of Duxbury passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2021 at the age of 78. She was the loving mother of Amanda Roache and her husband David of Melrose and Jonathan Lawrence and his wife Jessica Steel of Belmont; cherished grandmother of William, Alden, Adelle, Evelyn, and Emmett; dear sister of Jay Gould of South Carolina and the late Elizabeth Tileston.
